Join the Friends of Pinellas Master Naturalists on a walk along the Osprey Trail led by Dan Larremore, Environmental Specialist at Honeymoon Island State Park.

This is the prime time of year for this trail, which meanders through a virgin pine forest with an understory of coastal plants and many opportunities to enjoy ospreys, their nests, and possibly their young, and the chance to see many other sights, including an eagle nest.

The trail is not paved but is wide, and mostly even, activity level is easy.

Our trip starts at the Osprey Trail trailhead at 9 AM. Bring water and snacks. Please wear close-toed shoes, bring an extra layer of clothing in case of a breeze, and bring your binoculars and camera. The trail is mostly covered but is open in places, so bring a hat and sunscreen.
