Take a deep dive into Florida springs! Advanced Florida Master Naturalist Jill Lingard has a decade of experience working with and volunteering for the Florida Springs Institute. Much of her learning has come through the SpringsWatch program. Using the Weeki Wachee River as her lens, Jill will share her citizen science journey to understanding the health of and impacts to these "liquid pools of light." She'll also explain how FPMN members can turn a fun day at the springs into research that helps to support them, and even give a few lucky paddlers the opportunity to participate in a Weeki Wachee SpringsWatch monitoring session in April.
