"Polar Bears and Other Wildlife of Churchill, Manitoba"
Please join the Annual Membership Meeting of the Friends of Pinellas Master Naturalists when Lindsay and Tom Bell share their photographs and experiences with Polar Bears and other wildlife in the far North.
In November of 2021, Lindsay and Tom Bell headed North, way North, to Churchill, Manitoba, a region that's frozen, still and dark for much of the year. Churchill is world famous for its Beluga Whales, the Northern Lights, Arctic birds and the largest concentration in the world of Ursus maritimus, the Great White Bear.
In addition to the Bell's beautiful program, the Friends will take a look at last year, vote in new Board Members and look ahead at what 2022 will bring in terms of programs, events and happenings.
Join us for an evening of incredible nature photography and stories and a peek ahead at what's to come!
