Sadly the Christmas get together was cancelled due to weather, but we can celebrate the New Year in its place!

Join your Pinellas Master Naturalist Friends for a holiday celebration 11:30AM – 2:00PM on Saturday, January 3 at Fred Howard Park. The park is located at 1700 Sunset Drive in Tarpon Springs. We’ll be in shelter #6, which has a lovely view of the water.

Enjoy a scrumptious BBQ lunch from our friends at Ozona Pig (with veggie dishes available) and conversation with fellow nature-lovers in a beautiful setting.

We’re excited have special guest Elise Bennett, Florida/Caribbean Director and Senior Attorney for the Center for Biological Diversity, attending this event. Founded in 1989, the CBD has a simple but profound mission: saving life on Earth. We’ll hear about Elise’s critical work protecting endangered species and leading conservation initiatives throughout Florida and the Caribbean. She’ll explain how we can get involved and share her unconquerable hope.
