"Baturday" at Lubee Conservancy

Let's get batty! Join us as we head north to Gainesville to see some of the largest bats in the world. Lubee Bat Conservancy is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving bats and their habitats through conservation, education, and awareness. They are hosting a series of "Baturdays" this summer, which offer visitors an opportunity to see this "cutest misunderstood mammal" up close and speak with bat experts.

We'll trek north at 8AM on Saturday, June 8 to visit Lubee from 11AM-2PM. We'll pack a picnic lunch, sit in on educational presentations, and wander the conservancy's grounds. You can expect this to be an all-day experience with driving time, returning to the Tampa Bay area around 5PM.

We'll email participants during the week leading up to our Lubee visit with logistics and carpooling options.
